A modular payment-gateway pack for the Easy Hotel Native Checkout. Seven providers, each its own module, each with its own settings tab — and every one of them checked server-side before a booking is ever created.

Nothing A Browser Says About A Payment Is Believed

A return URL can be typed by hand and a JavaScript callback can be faked, so neither is trusted. After the guest pays, the server asks the provider itself whether that payment succeeded, checks it still covers the current cart total, and only then lets Easy Hotel create the bookings.

Each payment is tied to the booking session that started it, so one guest’s completed payment cannot be replayed inside another’s cart. If the booking step has to be retried, the verified capture is replayed from the stored record instead of charging the card twice.

Built So The Card Never Reaches You

Every provider collects the card in its own frame, and the site only ever sees a token.

Stripe, Square, Razorpay and Paystack host their own card fields
Authorize.Net's Accept.js swaps the card for a single-use token in the browser
3-D Secure and SCA are handled upstream by the provider
Paystack — cards, transfers, USSD and mobile money for Africa
A gateway stays hidden until every credential for the chosen mode is filled in
Test and live credentials are stored in separate fields

Each module builds its own tab under Settings → Booking → Payment Gateways, beside the built-in ones.

Sandbox Or Live

Every gateway has a Mode dropdown. Sandbox uses the provider's test environment — nothing is charged.

Coupon-Aware Totals

The amount follows the cart as coupons and extras change it, then is priced again server-side before the charge.

A new provider is one class with three methods. The settings, plumbing and guards all come from the base class.

How It Works

All seven gateways follow the same path, implemented once in the shared
base class rather than seven times.

The Guest Picks A Gateway

Checkout is submitted, the cart is priced server-side, an unguessable reference is minted, and the payment is started with the provider.

They Pay Where They Are

Inline gateways render their fields under the payment radios. Razorpay and Paystack open their own window over the page. Mollie and SSLCommerz hand off to the bank.

The Server Checks It

The payment is looked up with the provider by its stored remote id — never by anything the browser supplied — and matched against the current cart total.

The Booking Lands

Only then does Easy Hotel create the bookings, mark the payment and send the guest to the thank-you page — with the orphaned-payment alert covering anything that fails halfway.
